Collection: Hatch Lifts

Keeping a hatch propped open safely while working below deck or accessing a storage compartment is a practical problem with two distinct solutions in this category. Lenco Marine's 12V electric hatch lifts automate the job entirely, using an actuator to raise and hold hatches without manual effort. Three stroke ranges are available (roughly 41 to 65 inches, 47 to 73 inches, and 47 to 77 inches), so matching the lift to your actual hatch travel is essential before ordering. These systems work with Lenco's stainless slide bracket for mounting, use a dedicated single rocker switch sold separately, and require a 12V DC connection. Replacement pull pins are also stocked if hardware wears over time.

Sea-Dog's hatch adjusters take a simpler, mechanical approach suited to smaller hatches or boats where running wiring is impractical. The twist-type models include an elbow fitting for angled installations, and both the standard and elbow versions come in 11-inch and 14-inch sizes. Check the hatch opening, the available mounting surface, and the hold-open angle you need before choosing a length. As an authorized dealer for both Lenco and Sea-Dog, Outdoors Marine carries genuine products backed by full manufacturer warranties.
