Collection: EPIRBs

This section covers rescue signaling equipment from ACR Electronics, McMurdo, Ocean Signal, and em-trak, including EPIRBs, Search and Rescue Transponders, and AIS-based trackers, along with the brackets, antennas, batteries, and release hardware that support them. The ACR Pathfinder SART combines radar transponder and AIS capability, the Ocean Signal SafeSea S100 is a dedicated SART, and the em-trak I100-X is built specifically for small vessel tracking. Each device type serves a distinct role in a distress scenario, and understanding the difference is the right starting point for any purchase in this category.

Before buying accessories or replacement parts, confirm compatibility with your specific beacon model. ACR's mounting hardware and antennas are model-specific: the GlobalFix V4 antenna and low-profile bracket are sized for the RLB-41, while the V5/V6 bracket fits a different unit. For automatic release, Ocean Signal's hydrostatic release housing and McMurdo's HRU kit handle deployment if the vessel goes under. Battery replacement is a routine maintenance requirement for both ACR and Ocean Signal units, and ACR's programming service is available if you need to register a device for the first time.
