The R & D Marine mounts here come in two footprint sizes, 4 inch and 6.85 inch, and several stud configurations including 12mm, 5/8 inch, and 3/4 inch, so the first step is confirming which footprint and stud pattern your engine beds and engine feet actually accept. Capacity is the other critical variable: individual mounts in this range handle loads from 30 to 680 pounds, and you need to divide your engine's total weight across the number of mounting points to find the right rating. Going too soft leaves vibration uncontrolled; going too stiff transfers that vibration straight into the hull.

Several of the R & D mounts are rated specifically for Yanmar diesel engines, making them a straightforward replacement choice for that brand.
