Collection: Deck Plates

Access plates and locker doors serve a straightforward purpose, but getting the right one depends on where it goes and how often you need to open it. Beckson dominates this selection with pry-out plates in 6" and 8" sizes, available in white or beige with non-skid or smooth center finishes and an option for a clear center panel that lets you check storage levels without removing the plate. Whale's locker doors step up to 9" openings in clear, black, or diecast aluminum, suited for cabinet and compartment fronts rather than flush deck applications. Perko covers pipe deck plates in chrome, and Sea-Dog supplies lanyards to keep smaller plates tethered and retrievable.

Before ordering, measure your existing cutout carefully because deck plates are sized by the opening they fit, not the overall flange diameter. Think about finish compatibility with your deck or cabin interior, since white and beige read differently against gelcoat colors. Clear panels are practical for storage compartments but show contents. Pry-out designs need no tools, while high-torque plates like Beckson's 6" access plate give a more positive seal, worth considering for below-waterline or wet-area installations.
